'Fare Thee Well Walter, Seller of Real Estate'

We knew thee more than we wanted to know thee.

Wait so Thor is banished again?

and a new Thor takes his place? Its like Marvel really don’t like Thor at all and they want him to be something completely different. No Donald ID anymore, no Jane, now no Thor himself.

I’m going to bury myself into 60s Journey into Mystery again.

So I dropped Thor after Marvel gave Jane Foster cancer and Walter.

Can I assume I was correct at the time in thinking we would not see her battle with the illness at all and that there would be no meaningful follow up?

Jane got Cancer because yet another era of pain is just what she needed! Am I right?

I can’t believe I hear people getting harassed for Jane cosplay. Jane fans should cosplay en masse at the next con. Let them rue the day they heard of the Society of Red Rain Boots.

Thor: The Mighty Avengerwill still have moments of levity, because I want Thor and Jane to be well-rounded individuals, and well-rounded individuals make jokes, And leavening drama with humor is a very good way to make the drama seem more dramatic and the humor seem funnier, each contrasting with the other.

Do you know if Aaron plans to follow her fight with breast cancer, or is this another instance in the industry of a long term female supporting character discarded for momentary gravitas from a male hero?

That’s not really Jason’s M.O., so we’ll be seeing Jane Foster in THOR again.

Post screening thoughts…

From the promo material. I think the movie originally ended differently.

The end credits are beautiful

The best fosterson moment has not yet been spoiled in my opinion.
